The challenge
The project combined two realities that required particularly intensive coordination. On one hand, the Integrated Design Process (IDP) and the BIM approach required close collaboration between professionals and specialized contractors around 3D modeling. On the other hand, the fast-track delivery method split the work into some thirty packages awarded progressively through public tenders. Every delay or adjustment could therefore have an impact on upcoming sequences and, ultimately, on the date the first residents could move in.
Our approach
As construction manager, the EBC-Longer consortium ensured continuous coordination between design, modeling, and the execution of the various packages. The schedule was adjusted as documents and tenders progressed, allowing teams to review certain sequences and prioritize the interventions necessary to keep the project on track.
