Building Project Manager: Your day-to-day responsibilities
Estimating
- Analyze tender opportunities to develop realistic and competitive project estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates using the company's estimating software.
- Assess project risks and recommend solutions to optimize costs and schedules.
Project Management
- Develop and maintain project schedules while ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Plan and implement, in collaboration with the Site Superintendent and Sustainability Coordinator, a waste management plan tailored to each project.
- Oversee the quality of work throughout project execution while ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the job site, clients, internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
Building Strong Relationships
- Promote a safe work environment by proactively identifying and preventing risks.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout every stage of the project.
- Collaborate with teammates to improve processes and achieve project objectives.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction, construction engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and estimating software.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and a high level of accountability.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent teamwork skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in both French and English is required to facilitate regular communication with English-speaking clients, consultants, subcontractors, and business partners.
