Let the games begin! The arrival of the first RécréOFUN in the Eastern Townships led to an interior design conceived to channel the energy of both kids and adults. HUDL handled the entire construction and finishing of the center, including several custom-made millwork elements to create an environment that is as playful and functional as it is suited to the realities of an amusement center.

The challenge

While the spaces were taking shape, the play structures were being installed in parallel by another team. In a confined area where everyone had to store, move, and install numerous materials, the various tasks had to progress side-by-side without getting in each other's way. The layout also had to respect the branding of other RécréOFUN centers while incorporating new ideas and accounting for daily use by many young children.

Our approach

The construction site adapted to the pace of the different teams through constant communication and the continuous reorganization of priorities and work zones. At the same time, the concepts imagined by the designers were translated into concrete solutions, with special attention paid to the choice of materials, durability, and the safety of the installations.

Results

The first RécréOFUN in the Eastern Townships now offers a colorful, safe environment ready to keep up with its young visitors. The custom-made elements integrate naturally into the brand's world while giving the Sherbrooke center its own unique personality. A new space designed for playing, exploring, and, above all, having fun.
