From the kitchen to the retail space, the Moulins La Fayette in Magog was designed as a cohesive whole. HUDL (Construction Longer) supported the client throughout the entire layout process and interior design development to create an environment that is both functional and consistent with the brand's experience.

The challenge

The timeline was already set while the plans were still in development. We had to move forward with design and construction almost simultaneously, without waiting for every detail to be finalized before preparing the next steps.

Our approach

To save precious weeks, HUDL worked directly with the client to develop the plans and interior design. Mechanical and electrical work was also carried out using a design-build approach with specialized partners, allowing the design to progress at the same pace as the construction site and enabling quick decision-making.

Results

This way of working accelerated the transition from design to construction and kept the project on track despite the tight deadline. The result integrates production areas, storage, and the boutique into a cohesive layout, designed as much for daily operations as for welcoming customers.
