Completed in 27 weeks, this new 34,000 sq. ft. Maxi in Acton Vale was designed to meet the needs of a modern grocery store. The building features a spacious sales floor, a rear warehouse, and a mezzanine housing the offices and mechanical room.
This was the project team’s first grocery store build. Despite their years of construction experience, this type of facility was new territory. We naturally drew on the knowledge of teams who had already completed similar projects to guide the site work, share best practices, and support the team throughout the process. From key milestones like refrigerator drainage before the first slab was poured, right down to the final finishing details, everyone was able to rely on our collective expertise. It is a concrete demonstration of what drives us forward: building together.
