From a former tire shop to a bakery and pastry shop full of character. After also housing a bicycle shop, the space underwent a new transformation to bring Vraies Richesses to life. The layout completely adapted the space to meet production and customer service needs, while creating the warm atmosphere that defines the establishment today.

The challenge

With several past uses and transformations, the building held its share of surprises throughout the construction process. The change of use also required the integration of specialized equipment, much of which came from Europe or was custom-made by artisans, each with its own unique installation requirements.

Our approach

The teams adapted their solutions as existing conditions were revealed, working closely with the various project partners. Special attention was also paid to coordinating the specialized equipment to ensure it was integrated into the spaces and systems, all while keeping the established budget in mind.

Results

The building's many past lives have finally given way to an environment perfectly suited to the reality of Vraies Richesses. Production, specialized equipment, and customer service now coexist in a functional and welcoming space that gives the location a new purpose.
