A work environment designed to balance focus, collaboration, and well-being. The National Bank of Canada call center in Sherbrooke was built around open, ergonomic workspaces, complemented by a cafeteria and various lounge areas. The use of comfortable furniture and greenery helps create a modern, welcoming atmosphere suited to the teams' daily needs.
The challenge
Carried out during the pandemic, the project had to contend with a tight schedule and supply chain delays that made certain materials difficult to source. The construction of the massive custom millwork walls also added a layer of complexity due to their size and irregular shapes.
Our approach
To stay on schedule, the teams worked closely with various partners to anticipate supply needs and find alternatives when necessary, all while preserving the architects' and designers' original vision. The millwork required extensive coordination and several adjustments to translate its unique geometry into practical solutions on-site.
Results
Despite a challenging supply environment, the fit-out brought a functional space to life that remains true to the initial vision. The open areas, lounge zones, and custom elements now create a workplace where teams can collaborate, focus, and recharge.
